Arizona Green Tea Cake

This was from 2011. This was the hardest cake I had to make so far. My friend had requested a cake for her birthday that had the design of the Arizona Green Tea can. Plus she wanted it to be an ice cream cake. OH Man! This cake was my third ice cream cake so I thought that I may have ,by then, gotten some skills with handling these cakes, so I agreed to do it (not to mention this was also for my best friend)... *sigh*. I have to admit it was fun to decorate because this was my first cake that was based off of something but it wasn't fun having to constantly keep sticking it in the freezer and wait. I wish I was rich and could have a kitchen like Cake Boss. A fridge car would be cool too, because it had begun to melt on the way to her house too.
I didn't try this one. I don't know why but it happens a lot. If I made the cake I just don't want to eat it. Plus there was so many people there and everyone wanted some so yeah... It must have been really good because I had many request after that.
The only thing I wish I had done was make the flowers redder to match the cake but I wasn't thinking at the time I was doing the flowers.
This was a marble based cake with cookie dough ice cream inside (the dough the ice cream gave me a hard time). This was covered in normal frosting. No fondant. I never used fondant before so maybe one day I'll try that instead of normal frosting. It would most likely would have been easier.
